CU Volunteer Day of Service
While our branches were closed on the Federal holiday, Columbus Day, our entire staff continued to put in the work of serving our communities.
Our team broke up into 10 different groups to volunteer their time with our community partners at Welcome Home and Coyote Hill, as well as KidSmart, APA St. Louis, Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, Missouri Veterans Endeavor, Nurses for Newborns, the Women’s Safe House, L’Arche, AmeriCorps in St. Louis.

2024 CU Give results
We partnered with Welcome Home throughout the month of July to offer support and security to the Veterans in our community who are experiencing homelessness.
As the number of Veterans they serve increases, the
need for donations is essential to maintain inventory and provide our Veterans with items they
need during their transition to permanent housing. All month long, we're asking for
donations, volunteering and raising awareness about Welcome Home's mission to end Veteran
homelessness.
COLLECTION DRIVE
The donation drive collected dozens of items for Welcome Home residents in transitional housing.
VOLUNTEERING
Team members prepared and served lunch and dinner for the Welcome Home KP Duty.
MONETARY DONATIONS
We donated an additional $1,000 to Welcome Home from our Denim for Dollars program.

Volunteering in the Community
Part of our credit union’s Vision is to Help our Communities Thrive. One key way we accomplish this is by asking every employee to participate in volunteer opportunities that we schedule throughout the year.
Denim for Dollars
With our Denim for Dollars program, Tigers Community employees raise money for local charities by donating $1 to wear jeans on Fridays. Since the launch in 2016, our employees have raised and donated $42,227!
Partnering with the Community
We are committed to service and helping our communities thrive. We support our local cities, chambers and schools. And we partner with local charities that share our commitment to people and community.
Sharing our financial literacy expertise
Knowledge is Power
Throughout the year, we host numerous webinars and seminars that cover a variety of financial topics because when you succeed, we succeed.

Free Community Shred day
Protect your identity! Gather all sensitive documents you no longer need and we’ll help you dispose of them safely and securely at our free shred event.
Please check back
Our spring shred event has passed. Please check back. We will be scheduling 2025 shred events soon.
How shredding can protect your identity
Even if you’re really careful about the information you put online, your printed files can still be an easy target for identity thieves and should never go directly in the trash.
To help you protect your personal information, we periodically host shred days at our Columbia locations. We bring a data destruction truck to our parking lot where you can shred your outdated sensitive documents for FREE.
